Microdermabrasion for the face $155 series of 3 $375
This treatment is used to soften fine lines & wrinkles . Safely exfoliates the skin and in some cases reverse the effects of sun damage and aging by removing a thin layer of skin with the application of a fine diamond tip wand. This process enhances the skin’s own elasticity and generative qualities by assisting with the removal of skin debris, dead cells, oils and keratin that might otherwise lead to a poor complexion. Helps to fade Hyper-pigmentation and improve mild to moderate acne while reducing shallow acne scars. Aids in improving the texture in superficial scars and stretch marks . Brightens a dull complexion and improves the skin’s overall texture and tone . Smooths dry rough skin while shrinking enlarged pores. A calming solution is applied to deeply moisturize and soothe the skin.
Unlike other skin imperfections, stretch marks do not form on the skin’s surface (called epidermis), even though that’s where you see them. Stretch marks form in the skin layer directly underneath (called dermis).
Stretch marks are, in fact, tens of fine silvery, long, fragmented scars that are sunken into the skin. Think of them as microscopic valleys found on your abdomen, thighs, breasts, arms and/or buttocks. Microdermabrasion uses a diamond head to sandblast the skin and make the ridge of these imaginary valleys become eroded.
Over 10-12 abrasions, the skin surrounding the stretch marks is brought down to a level closer to the stretch mark itself. Basically, the stretch marks are still there, deep into the skin, but they are less visible.
Besides the peeling effect, microdermabrasion also jump starts collagen production in the skin, which increases its elasticity and helps it contract the marks into much thinner scars.
Microdermabrasion for thighs and legs 30 minutes $69
Microdermabrasion for buttocks(woman only) or arms 30 minutes $39.00
